The bowl sits at an angle in a slim iron frame, so the food collects at the low front edge instead of in a corner a cat has to push its whole face into.
Outside, the ceramic is rippled and matte. Inside, it is smooth and glossy, which is the side that has to be washed. The two finishes are the reason it looks handmade rather than molded.
The stand is four arched legs of thin black iron on small ball feet. It takes up very little visual space for something standing off the floor.

The bowl
Warm water and mild soap. The inside is smooth, so it wipes clean in a pass. Skip abrasive pads, which dull the glaze over time.

Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Don't leave it standing in water.
Handling
It is ceramic. Dropped on tile or stone, it will chip like any good dish.
