Is the stone sealed and safe for pets?
Yes. The travertine is sealed with a food-safe, non-toxic sealant that protects against water absorption, bacteria and stains. Safe for daily food and water.
How do I clean and care for it?
Warm water and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals and scrub pads. Wipe dry after washing to keep the finish even. That's all it takes.
What are the dimensions?
Bowls are 6″ across and 2″ deep. The base plate is 13″ × 6.5″. Sized for cats and small to medium dogs; larger breeds may prefer a deeper bowl.

The Travertine Pet Bowl Set is two bowls, each 6 inches across and 2 inches deep, in a base plate measuring 13 by 6.5 inches. The finish is food-safe sealed, so it wipes clean with warm water and mild soap. Every set carries its own veining and pitting, which means no two are identical. It suits cats and small to medium dogs.
Raised or flat
Raised bowls suit larger dogs and older animals that find it uncomfortable to reach the floor. Flat stone sets suit cats, who prefer to eat with their whiskers clear of the sides — a shallow, wide bowl does more for a cat than a deep one.
Materials
Travertine and marble are porous stone, sealed for food use and best cleaned by hand. Glazed ceramic is the easier option for a household that puts everything in the dishwasher. Both hold their weight; neither ends up under the refrigerator.
