A cat looking for somewhere to sleep wants enclosure. A room looking for somewhere to put it wants a shape worth seeing. VogueNest was drawn to satisfy both at once — a sphere cut open on a single sweeping curve, resting on its own turned plinth.

The Cut Is the Design
A single crescent sweep removes a quarter of the sphere. It is what lets a cat in, what lets light in, and what gives the piece its profile from across a room. There is no applied detail anywhere on it.

Two Finishes, One Form
Beige for rooms built on oak, linen and plaster. Walnut for darker timber and warmer palettes. The form is identical; the finish decides which room it disappears into and which it anchors.

The Cushion Does the Work
A deep tufted round in cotton, sized to the curve of the shell. It holds its shape under a settled cat rather than flattening into the base, and lifts out whole for the wash.

Built once, to order.
Printed as one continuous form in PETG, then hand-sanded and sealed, and set on a base of the same. Additive manufacturing is what makes the geometry possible: the crescent, the curved interior and the base are a single body rather than parts joined together. Because each piece is printed after it is ordered, small variations in surface and tone are inherent to it rather than a flaw in it. Allow three weeks from order to dispatch.

Care
Simple to keep looking new.
Wipe the shell with a soft dry cloth. The cushion is cotton and takes a light machine wash. Keep the piece out of prolonged direct sun and away from radiators — PETG softens under sustained heat — and avoid solvent-based cleaners on the sealed surface.

Before You Order
How long until it ships?
Around three weeks from the day you order. Each piece is printed to order rather than picked from stock, and that three weeks covers production and dispatch. If you are ordering for a specific date, leave yourself a margin on top.
What size cat does it fit?
It holds up to 30 lbs, which covers every domestic breed including Maine Coons and Ragdolls. The bed stands 17.6″ tall on a 15.9″ × 17″ footprint. The limit is the opening rather than the weight, so measure your cat lying curled if you are unsure.
Will my cat use an enclosed bed?
Most do. Cats rest where they have cover behind them and sightlines in front, which is what the open crescent gives. Place it against a wall in a room the household actually uses rather than a spare corner, and give it a week.
Is it stable if a cat jumps onto the rim?
Yes. The shell sits on a wide flat base and carries its weight low, so the mass stays over the footprint even when a cat lands on the rim rather than stepping in. We have not had a customer report it tipping.
Can the cushion be washed?
Yes. It is cotton, lifts out whole, and takes a light machine wash. Air dry it rather than tumbling.
Can it be returned?
Because each VogueNest is printed for you after you order, we are not able to accept returns for change of mind. If a piece arrives damaged or defective we will replace it — write to us with a photograph and we will take it from there.
