One piece of ceramic, the rim tipped fifteen degrees toward whoever is eating.
A flat bowl on the floor asks a cat to fold its neck down and chase the last of the food into the corners. This one stands up on its own foot and leans in. The meal slides to the front, where it can be reached.
Four and a quarter inches at the back. Three and a half at the front. High enough that the head stays up, low enough that it still reads as a bowl on the floor rather than a piece of equipment.
The foot and the bowl are a single glazed form. Nothing to assemble, nothing to work loose, no seam for water to sit in.
It is sold as a single bowl. Most orders take two, one for food and one for water.
On the sizeThis is a bowl for cats and small dogs. Five inches across the rim is a meal, not a large dog's dinner. For bigger appetites, the Carrara set holds more than three cups a bowl.

Care
Washing
Warm water and mild soap. Glazed ceramic doesn't hold on to smells the way plastic does. Skip abrasive pads, which dull the glaze over time.
Placement
A flat, dry floor. The foot is narrower than the rim, so keep it off rugs with a deep pile.
Handling
It is ceramic. Dropped on tile or stone, it will chip like any good dish.
From the founder
I like things that do one small job properly. This one leans. That is the whole idea, and it turns out to be enough.
